Meet the Founder
The Pink Gym was founded not just from a weight loss journey, but from a deeper understanding of what true wellness means. Our mission is to redefine fitness through a public health lens, creating an inclusive space where women build strength and confidence while also gaining access to resources, community, and education that support their overall wellbeing. Unlike an open gym, our model is built on structured, expert-led classes, creating a supportive community in Philadelphia.
As someone with a master’s degree in Public Health, I’ve seen firsthand how physical activity transforms lives not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. But it wasn’t until I experienced an injury myself that I truly embraced the power of slowing down.
That shift helped me appreciate the importance of low impact movement like mat Pilates that supports the core, encourages flexibility, and prioritizes long-term joint health. It reminded me that fitness isn’t about pushing harder, it’s about moving smarter.
At The Pink Gym, I’m proud to offer a space where women can feel strong, safe, and seen, whether they're lifting weights or just learning to reconnect with their bodies.
